My mom learnt to make wine after someone told her its good for heart patients and my dad had suffered a heart attack. Sharing her recipe which can be enjoyed by all.

Black grapes – 2 kg

Sugar – 2kg
Wheat – ¼ kg
Yeast – 2 spoons, dissolved in lukewarm water
Lavang – 10
Dalchini – 2”
Water – 5 litres
Egg white – 1 egg, beaten
Mix grapes and sugar and crush grapes with hand.
Add all the other ingredients. Mix well with wooden spatula and store in glass or ceramic jar (Do not use steel utensils). Keep for minimum 21 days for fermenting. Everyday stir
with hand or wooden spatula.
After 21 days, sieve the wine. Keep aside.
Take one cup sugar, heat in kadai without water
till it crystallizes into golden brown liquid. Add one cup water into it and stir
and add it to the wine. Stir well. Store in glass bottles. Wine is ready to consume.
