Dry prawns with Lady finger
2 cups dried prawns
1 tbsp tamarind
8-10 lady finger
(bhindi)
4 red chillies, 2
green chillies
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 onions
1 tsp turmeric pdr
curry leaves
4 tsp oil, salt
Wash prawns. Slightly crush it in mixie along with chillies and tamarind (do
not add water).
Wash bhindi, dry and
cut into 1” pcs. Shallow fry in 2 tsp oil till half-cooked.
Heat oil in kadai, add ginger, curry leaves and onions and saute. When slightly brown, add
turmeric, salt & ground prawn masala. Sauté for 10 minutes. Add bhindi. Mix
well without bruising the veg. Cook till done.
