Cucumber Pachadi
2 cucumber, grated
½ coconut, grated
2-3 green chillies
small piece of ginger
1-2 small onion
small piece of ginger
1-2 small onion
2 spoon curd
1 tsp mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Make a coarse paste of coconut, ginger, onion, chillies & mustard, with some salt. Mix it with grated cucumber. Add curd. Season with mustard & curry leaves in coconut oil. Serve as a side-dish with steamed rice.
Note:
Cucumber may be replaced with white pumpkin, in which case, it should be thinly sliced and not grated.
