Schezwan Paneer Gravy
Paneer - 500 gms
Capsicum - 2
Onion - 1 large
Spring onion - 1
Schezwan sauce - 3 tbsp
Soya sauce - 1 tsp
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Chopped ginger - 2 tbsp
Chopped garlic - 2 tbsp
Cornflour - 3 tbsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
White pepper powder - 1 tsp
Salt, Oil - 1/2 cup
Cut paneer into cubes and marinate with salt and red chilly powder for 10-15 minutes
Cut capsicum and Onions into cubes.
Finely chop spring onions.
Add one cup water in the cornflour and prepare a slurry.
Heat oil in a wok, add chopped ginger-garlic and saute, add capsicum and onions and saute. Add soya sauce, vinegar, schezwan sauce and salt and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 cups water. When it boils add the paneer and let it cook for 5 minutes. Add the cornflour slurry and tomato sauce and saute. Lastly , add the chopped spring onions and blend into the gravy. Serve with Schezwan Fried Rice.
