Lemon curry
One large lemon (500 gm)
7-8 green chillies, chopped
4 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp methi and hing(fried and powdered)
2 tbsp white vinegar
1” ginger, chopped
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 cups hot water
For seasoning
Mustard, methi, red chilli pcs, curry leaves, 1 cup coconut oil
Scrape the skin of lemon and cut into small pieces. Remove seeds. Add 1 tbsp salt and mix well and set asie for 1-2 hours.
Heat oil in kadai. Season with mustard, methi, red chillies & curry leaves. Add ginger and green chillies and sauté for some time. Add red chilli powder, & turmeric powder. Mix well. Add the hot water and let it simmer for some time. Now add lemon pieces and vinegar. Add methi-hing powder. Do not cook. Remove from fire and mix well. Store in containers.
