Poha Chiwda
1 kg thick poha
100g groundnuts
2 tbsp roasted chana dal
2 sprig curry leaves
8-9 cashewnuts
2 tbsp raisins
1 tsp haldi powder
3 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp copra sliced
1 tbsp saunf
1 tsp dhania powder
3-4 green chillies chopped
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp hing powder
1 cup oil
Salt
In a kadai, dry roast the Poha till its crisp. Sieve it to remove small particles. keep aside
In a large kadai, heat oil, fry the groundnuts and keep aside. now fry the cashewnuts and keep aside. Fry chopped copra slices and keep aside.
In the same kadai, crackle mustard, followed by jeera. Add hing powder, green chillies, curry leaves, saunf, haldi powder and salt and saute. Add roasted chana and saute. Now add the roasted poha and mix well. Add raisins, fried groundnuts , cashew nuts, copra and mix well. Switch off flame. Now sprinkle the powdered sugar over the mixture and blend it well. Crispy Poha is ready. Serve with tea.
