Mixed vegetable
1 cup potatoes, cubed
1 cup cauliflower
1 cup green peas
½ cup carrot, chopped
½ cup beans, chopped
½ cup capsicum, chopped (optional)
3 tomatoes, chopped
2 onions, chopped
ginger-garlic paste
½ tsp jeera powder
½ tsp whole jeera
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chilly pdr
1 tbsp kasuri methi (optional)
1 tsp amchur powder
1 tbsp kasuri methi (optional)
1 tsp amchur powder
Corriander leaves, for garnishing
Salt, turmeric pdr
Cook potatoes with salt haldi and water and keep aside.
Heat oil in kadai. Add jeera. When it crackles, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till brown. Now add onions and saute till onions are golden brown. Add tomatoes and sauté till it gets cooked. Add red chilly pdr, jeera pdr & garam masala pdr. Now add the vegetables, salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Cook on slow fire for another 5-10 minutes. Add the cooked potatoes and mix well. Add amchur powder. Lastly, add kasuri methi and corriander leaves. Serve with chapaties.
