Masale Bhaath
Cooked rice ½ kg
Tomatoes 3 chopped
Onion – 1, chopped lengthwise
One cup chopped carrots
One cup green peas
2 tbsp groundnuts
1 bringal (optional)
1 potato
Corriander leaves
½ tsp jeera
½ tsp mustard
Salt
Turmeric pdr
Garam masala/goda masala
Jeera pdr
Dhania pdr – ½ tsp
Green chilles slit – 2
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste
Lime juice – 1tbsp
Heat oil in kadai. Add mustard and jeera and let it crackle. Add groundnuts and let it cook. Add onions and saute. Add ginger-garlic paste. Add green chillies and saute. Add tomatoes and cook. Add dhania pdr, jeera pdr, red chilly pdr, garam masala pdr, salt and haldi and lime juice. Cook well. Add vegetables and let it cook.(or cook vegetables separately and add) Add some water. Now add the cooked rice and coriander leaves and mix well. Let it simmer on low flame for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
