Chicken Pulao 



3 cups basmati rice
1 kg chicken
1 cup curd
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp red chilly powder
1 tbsp dhania powder 
Whole spices (dalchini, lavang, tejpatta, cardamom, pepper etc)
Salt
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp pudina leaves
3 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tsp garam masala pdr
1 tsp Biryani masala (optional)
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 large onions sliced lengthwise
2 large tomatoes chopped

Wash rice and keep aside.

Marinate chicken with salt, ginger-garlic paste, red chilly powder, dhania powder, curd, garam masala powder, coriander & pudina leaves for one hour.

Heat oil, add all whole spices and saute for some time. Then add the onions and saute till brown. Add tomatoes and chicken and cook on high flame for 15 minutes. Now add rice and 6 cups water, lime juice salt, biryani masala and some coriander and pudina leaves and mix well and let it cook on high flame for some time. When it starts boiling, lower flame and cover and cook on low flame till done.
