Sweet Corn Dhokla
Sweet corn – 400 gms
Rava – 2 cups
Besan – 1 cup
Curd – 2 cups
Green chilly – 3-4
Ginger – ½”
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Eno / baking soda – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp (optional)
Oil – 1-2 tbsp
Salt
For seasoning
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
White til – 1 tsp
Green chilli – 1-2
Hing powder – ½ tsp
In a mixing bowl, add rava, besan, curd, sugar, salt , oil and mix well. Keep aside. Grease plate with oil and keep aside
Grind the sweet corn into a coarse paste, along with green chillies and ginger. Add to the batter and mix well. The paste should be thick. Add 1-2 tsbp water only if required. Add eno/baking soda and mix well. Immediately pour the batter into the tray. Sprinkle some red chilly powder on it and steam for 15-20 minutes on high heat.
Season with above seasoning ingredeients and pour it over the dhokla. Spread the seasoning well on the dhokla. Cut into pieces and serve with green chutney or tomato sauce.
