Sabudana vada
Sabudana – 2 cups
Curd – 1 cup
Roasted peanuts – 1 cup (Coarsely ground)
Boiled potatoes – 2-3
Green chillies – 3-4
Ginger – 1” – grated or finely chopped.
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Rice flour – 1 tbsp
Onion – 1 large chopped
Corriander leaves
White til - 1/2 cup
Lime juice (optional)
Wash sabudana 2 times. Add curd and enough water to soak sabudana, (water just above sabundana). Keep 3-4 hrs or overnight.
Smash or grate the potatoes. Add the soaked sabudana, groundnut powder, onion, green chillies, ginger, curry leaves coriander leaves, rice flour and salt. Mix well with hands to form a dough and lime juice. Mix and mash with hands to form a dough. Grease hands with oil. Make small flat balls. Sprinkle til on it and fry in appe mould or shallow fry on tawa with ghee or oil. Serve with ketchup.
