Banana Sandwich

1 packet bread

5 nendra pazyam (king size banana (chopped)

2-3 tbsp grated coconut (optional)

3-4 tbsp sugar

2 cups milk (room temperature)

2 eggs (beaten)

1/2 tsp jeera powder (optional)

Ghee/Butter


Heat 2 tbsp ghee or butter in a kadai, add the chopped bananas and saute. Add 2 tbsp sugar and saute, (if adding coconut, jeera powder, add now) and saute till banana becomes soft and mushy. 

In a bowl add the milk and beaten eggs. Add 2 tbsp sugar. mix well till sugar is dissolved.

Heat non-stick tawa, brush some ghee or butter. Spread 1-2 tbsp of cooked banana on one side of the bread. Cover it with another bread, dip it into the milk and shallow fry (on both sides) on the tawa. Banana sandwich is ready.
