Padwal / Pumpkin curry
¼ kg white pumpkin or padwal, finely chopped
½ coconut. Grind into paste or extract milk.
2-3 green chillies
Curry leaves
Salt, turmeric
Boil the pumpkin/padwal with little water, chillies, curry leaves & a pinch of turmeric. When cooked, add coconut paste/milk. As soon as it starts simmering, remove from fire. Add one spoon coconut oil and mix well. Serve with steamed rice.
