Gajar Halwa

3 kg Carrots grated
2 cups milk / milkmaid
3 cups sugar (1 cup if using condensed milk)
Kaju-kismis, crushed badam
2 tbsp ghee
Elaichi pdr
½ cup mava 
1 tbsp rice flour

 
In a kadai, add ghee and saute, now add the carrots and saute for 5 minutes. Add milk. Keep stirring for 5 minutes. Now Add sugar and continue stirring. Add the nuts (kaju-kismis-badam) and cook well. Dilute rice flour in water and add to the mixture to thicken it. Crumble the mawa and add into it. Add some ghee and mix well. Let it cook for sometime . Lastly add eliachi powder and blend well. Gajar halwa is ready.
