cups kolam kacha chawal
½
cup moong/tuvar dal
2 tomatoes
1
onion
Ginger,
finely chopped
2
green chillies slit
Salt,
haldi pdr
Garam
masala pdr (optional)
Mustard,
curry patta
Maggie
chicken cubes (optional)
Beans/carrots
chopped (optional)
Corriander
leaves.
Wash
dal and rice together and keep aside.
Heat
oil in kadai. Add mustard; when it crackles, add ginger, green chilles and
onions and sauté for some time. Add onions and sauté. Add tomatoes, curry
leaves, salt & green chillies. Now add haldi pdr & garam masala pdr. Now
add the rice and dal. Sauté for some time. Add water. Cook till rice is done.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
