Aloo mutter


¼ kg potatoes, cubed

¼ kg mutter

1 onion, chopped

3 tomatoes (pureed in mixie)

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

¼ tsp jeera

1 tsp dhania pdr

½ tsp red chilli pdr

salt, turmeric pdr

¼ tsp garam masala

Corriander leaves


Cook potatoes and mutter with salt, turmeric and little water.

Heat oil in kadai/cooker. Add jeera, let it crackle. Add ginger-garlic paste, saute. Add onions, saute till golden brown, add tomato puree, mix well. Add all dry masalas.  Add potatoes & mutter. Add 1 cup water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. Garnish with corriander leaves. Serve with rotis.
