Aata-Aloo chilla
2 cups wheat flour
½ cup besan (gram flour)
4 potatoes, boiled and grated
1 cup curd
½ tsp turmeric powder
3 green chillies
½ tsp red chilly powder
1 tomato, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp ajwain
Salt
Corriander leaves
Ginger-garlic paste
Oil
½ tsp baking soda (optional)
Make a batter of wheat flour and besan by adding
water little by little.
Add all the other ingredients and mix well. Lastly add baking soda. Add enough water to adjust consistency.
Heat tawa, brush with oil. Put a ladle of batter and spread on
the tawa. Close lid and cook on both sides. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or
any chutney of your choice.
Note:
If you do not wish to add baking soda, let batter rest
for an hour or so before making the chilla.
